Thursday Nights at Co-op- Fibers & Crafting for Co-op will be held 7:30-9 p.m. at our Rosemont Garden location throughout the summer and school year! We will not meet on August 21st do to the Mandatory Parent Meeting that is scheduled.
AUGUST
Families should attend one of three scheduled Clean-Up Days before school begins. Choose from August 9th, 14th or 15th. We ask that you DO NOT bring your children on August 9th. In order to receive full credit for attending a clean up, you must plan to arrive on time and stay for three hours!!
**Families in the Two-Year-Old classes do not participate in Clean-Up Days.**
Tuesday August 5th, Board Meeting, 7-9p.m. Rosemont Garden- All parents welcome.
Saturday August 9th, Parent CLEAN-UP, 9a.m.-noon at both Co-op locations (go to the one your child(ren) attend- Work on playground maintenance and painting inside the school buildings. No Children. Reminder:Two-Year-Old families do not attend Clean-Up Days.
Wednesday August 13, Records Day, at our Rosemont Garden facility, 10a.m.-noon- New Families Only! Please bring a negative TB screening test & current Kentucky Immunization Certificate for your child(ren). We will be doing background/security checks.
August 13-26, Inservice for Teachers
Thursday August 14th & Friday August 15th, Parent CLEAN-UP, 9a.m.-noon @ both Co-op facilities (go to the one your child(ren) attend)- You and your child may participate on one of these days to attend. These days not only prepare the facility for the upcoming year, they are also an excellent way for you and your child to familiarize yourselves with the school and get to know classmates and other parents. Be sure to sign in when you arrive. (You may choose to attend both August 14th & 15th, however only one of these two clean up days will "count" toward your yearly clean-up requirement.) Reminder:Two-Year-Old families do not attend Clean-Up Days.
Thursday August 21st, MANDATORY MEETING FOR PARENTS ONLY, 7-9p.m. @ our Rosemont Garden facility- Please do not bring your children to this meeting. ALL Co-op parents, new and returning, should plan to attend this parent meeting. You will:
- Meet all Co-op staff & board members
- Review Co-op philosophy & policies
- Learn about family responsibilities at Co-op
- Meet your child's teacher and sign up for an orientation session
- Meet & visit with fellow Co-op parents
The meeting is housed in the Hunter Presbyterian Church at 109 Rosemont Garden. You may park in front of the church, beside it, in the lot two houses west of it on the Rosemont Garden or on Suburban Court.
Thursday August 21st, No Fibers Group due to Mandatory Parent Meeting
Tuesday August 26th, Mandatory Parent Training for Parents of Two-Year-Olds, 7-9p.m.- Please do not bring your children to this meeting. All parents who plan to assist in the two-year-olds' classroom MUST attend this training. Parents will learn about the routines of the day and the parents' role in assisting with these routines.
Tuesday August 26th, Kindergarten Placement Interviews, - Kindergarten students will meet individually with the kindergarten teacher for an assessment interview. Sign up for your child's time slot at the August 21st parent meeting.
Wednesday August 27, Thursday August 28 & Friday 29th, Morning Pre-School Classes Orientation Sessions- You will sign up for one session on August 21st. Attend with your child.
